The tower is so high that you can see the entire city of Toronto from the top of the CN tower. It is situated in the downtown district, which is one of the more busier sections of Toronto. On a clear day one can easily observe the traffic flow on peak hours from high atop this prestigious building. At the observatory area at the top of the tower, you can walk on a glass floor which consists of 2 ½ layers of clear tempered glass, which have been laminated together which allows a view 342 m (1,122 ft) straight down, even people who claim they aren’t afraid of heights will probably be a little nervous too. The glass floor opened in 1994, and was the first glass floor observatory deck of its kind at the time. The Glass floor is definitely a unique experience and a huge tourist attraction.
